C1800 or earlier. A large oil on canvas of a Classical grotto with a central statuary reclining figure surrounded by columns and stautes with an Italianate landscape in the back ground with a distant city ( Naples?). A slightly Naive  and possibly English school copy of an unidentified (by me) painting.
