A 19th century mahogany sofa

C1835.

An elegant early 19th century mahogany framed sofa, dating to circa 1835. This antique English sofa retains its original frame with turned front legs and brass castors, characteristic of the Regency to early Victorian transition. The squared arms and high back offer a refined silhouette, while the exposed hessian and calico upholstery provide a desirable, timeworn aesthetic ready for re-covering or display as-is for that authentic country house look.

This antique mahogany sofa is ideal for period interiors, restoration projects, or use as a statement piece in modern rustic schemes. Its generous proportions and classic design make it a versatile and decorative seating option.

Now with a sprung seat and feather cushion.
